New Garden With Elegant Features

What: A Fully Re-designed Garden For Keen Gardeners

Where: Burton on Trent

When: July 2011

This was a new development with a typical characterless garden left by the builders - turf and a patio sloping towards the house.

Client brief - a full garden re-design incorporating some level areas. The clients were very keen gardeners.

G-Scapes achieved levelled areas by building retaining walls and steps. The curved lawns were edged with blocks to keep their shape. A particularly interesting focal point is the arbor made out of oak with a slate tiled roof. This creates a peaceful, shaded, sitting area in a very sunny garden. A lovely feature is the very natural-looking stream built of sandstone. This enhances the entire project by giving the added dimensions of sound and movement.

"A beautiful garden. We just love it. We couldn’t have hoped for anything better, a very professional job. Polite accommodating landscapers, mess kept to a minimum, no disruption. Even plastic sheeting was put on the drive for their vehicles and offloading. Its a definite 5 star performance in our opinion. Many thanks for a fantastic garden."
