Terraced Garden

What: A Fully Re-designed Garden With Useable Tiered Planting And Sitting Areas

Where: Lichfield

When: May 2013

A medium-sized back garden typical of a modern housing estate.

The garden sloped from house to rear fence and was predominantly grass.

Client brief -a full re-design with useable tiered planting and sitting areas.

G-Scapes built a series of retaining walls and steps with new sleepers. Sandstone paving was used, and vegetable planting boxes constructed. A second seating area was built on a different level to get the evening sun. The rear fence was topped by trellis to increase privacy.

"From beginning to end the service was thorough, efficient and helpful. Consultation in design was conducted, as a conversation to ensure that everyone involved was happy with the design. We were taken to other gardens to look at and confirm materials and the price was reasonable for the work involved. The gardeners were hard working, cheerful and thirsty. We were kept up to date with developments and changes were accommodated as issues came to light. The whole team is recommended highly."
